cat-fur blanket

Sun Aug 2, 2009, 12:08 PM
  • Mood: Disgust
  • Listening to: the radio
  • Reading: hitchhykers guide to the galaxy
  • Watching: you!
  • Drinking: strawberry juice and coffe
a few days I was shocked to hear that here in Europe some people sell cat-fur blankets against rheumatism. I made some research on my own and was surprised how many companies sell these blankets and how cunning they try to convince the people that it helps, for one blanket ~20 cats have to die and it is sold for 1500€ or more.

in Europe it is illegal to kill cats and dogs and to trade with their produkts, further in Austria it is illegal to kill animals for their fur.

if you find shops/people who sell cat/dog produkts inform them that it is illegal.

I want to say thank you to Mr. Kreutzer from the internet advertisement website Tripple [link] in less than 12 hours after I send him an e-mail to tell him that somebody wants to sell a blanket via his website he deleted the ad.

The more massive an object is, the more gravity it contains, which explains why it is harder to get ketchup out of the bigger glass ketchup bottles. More importantly it is also why a big screen tv collects more dust than a hoover.

Regardless of the camera (single-use or digital) you happen to have in your hand, what matters is that you are able to capture the moment! Otherwise, you'd miss out on this very experience that can serve as a great photo 'reinforcement' to your memories!

no they were rescued from the fur farm at an age of about 10 days, now they should be about 2 years. "put down" is nicely paraphrased, sometimes they are not even killed before skinned
